What’s in the Fundraising Pack?

Where does the Giant Wiggle take place?

You can hold your fundraising walk anywhere you like – at home, at nursery, in the library or a local park. Don’t forget to check the weather before your event. If the warm sun doesn’t come up – pop! – inside you go! You can have just as much fun on your wiggle walk indoors.

How can we raise money?

The Giant Wiggle is a fundraising walk. We suggest you ask everyone taking part to donate £2.

Your Very Hungry Caterpillar fundraising pack is full of simple ideas to raise extra donations on the day too. In the past, our wigglers have held a sponsored reading of The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ and asked everyone to donate an extra £1 to enjoy. You could also hold a bake sale using The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ recipes which we’ll share with you. Careful not to get a stomach ache!
You can collect donations on the day or set up a JustGiving page to share with parents, friends and family. Get everyone involved in fundraising – it’s all part of the fun.
