To the sounds of hits from Toyah’s glittering back catalogue, some of Scotland’s top businesses raised £143,000 to support our work in Scotland at our annual Never Mind the Business event.

Guests enjoyed great music, beer and food while pitting their music knowledge against other teams from across Scotland at the quiz - which included a sing-along lyrics round and a round of ‘classic album covers’ – while raising money to support our services.

The evening, which has become an unmissable night on the Scottish music calendar, was hosted by STV’s Peter Martin and saw over 700 representatives of Scottish businesses put their music knowledge to the test.

This year, the surprise music act was 80s new wave star Toyah Wilcox, who performed hits from her extensive back catalogue to the delight of those in attendance.

Now in its 14th year, our popular music quiz, sponsored by Standard Real Estate Ltd, has now raised over £1.5m to support vulnerable children and families in Scotland.

"Never Mind the Business is the perfect opportunity for friends and colleagues to let their hair down and put their music knowledge to the ultimate test – and all for an amazing cause.

We’re delighted that our efforts this year have raised a total of £143k to support disadvantaged children, young people and families across Scotland. This money will make a big difference."
